Moroccan Imperial Cities & Sahara Oasis

DAY 01 : Arrival Casablanca Airport
Meet up in the airport and transfer to the hotel.

DAY 02 : Casablanca – Rabat :
Visit one of the best highlights of Casablanca the Hassan ll mosque and departure to the Imperial city of Rabat, the administrative capital of the Kingdom. Visit Méchouar (ramparts and walls surrounding the Royal Palace), the Oudayas Kasbah, the magnificent Mausoleum Mohamed V and the Hassan II. accommodation in the hotel.

DAY 03 : Rabat – Fez :
Visit the Medina of Meknes surrounded also by ramparts. visit the Jewish quarter and the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Accommodation at the hotel in Fez.

DAY 04 : Fez – Fez :
The whole day dedicated for the Fez, the oldest imperial city in Morocco ,founded in the 8th century by Moulay Idriss II .You will visit the Medina, Médersas Attarine, Fontaine Ennajarine, Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss and the Karawiyin Mosque and the new medina in Fez Jdid .In the evening check into the hotel.

DAY 05 : Fez – Merzouga :
Drive further to Merzouga via Azrou Cedar forest, Ziz Gorges and Erfoud.Arrive to Merzouga to ride your camel to spend the night in the heart of the dunes under nomadic tent.

DAY 06 : Merzouga – Roses Valley  – Todra gorges – Dades Valley
You will wake up early to see the beautiful sunrise over the dunes.Continue  to Todra gorges, then to Dades Valley. Night in the hotel in Roses valley.

DAY 07 : Roses Valley – Marrakech :
After breakfast continue to the town of Ouarzazate through the road of the Thousand Kasbahs. When you arrive the town you will visit the Kasbah of Taourirt,and the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou which is located arround 30 Kms from Ouarzazate.Set off to Marrakech over the High Atlas mountains through Tizi N’tichka Pass ( alt 2260 m).Overnight in hotel or Riad.

DAY 08 :  Marrakech – Marrakech :
Visit the historical city of Marrakech, founded in 1062. Marrakech has much to offer; the Menara Gardens, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saâdien tombs and the Bahia palace, the JamaEEl Fna  square with is lively evening, and lovely Souks.Overnight in the hotel or riad.

DAY 09 :  Marrakech – Casablanca :
Free morning in Marrakesh. Depart for Casablanca in the afternoon. Overnight in the hotel.

DAY 10 : Casablanca – Airport
Transfer to the airport./ End of our services

Moroccan Imperial Cities Tour 8 Days

DAY 1 : Casablanca :
Upon arrival in Casablanca , the economic capital of Morocco , you will be met and transferred by van to your Casablanca hotel, where you will check in and relax for the afternoon. Depending on time, you could choose to have an optional tour of the Hassan II mosque.

DAY 2 : Casablanca – Fez :
After breakfast, you will leave by van towards Fes . On route, you will stop at Rabat , the capital city and residence of the King, for lunch and a time to enjoy the beautiful coastal city. After lunch you will continue on to Fes , the spiritual capital of Morocco .

DAY 3 : Fez – Visit :
After breakfast you will begin your guided tour of the medina, one of the world’s largest walled in cities. You will explore the narrow streets lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, intricately woven Berber carpets and many other art objects of Morocco . A visit to the Kings Palace , the tanneries, and potters are just a few places you will experience. For lunch you will eat in traditional restaurant in the heart of the medina. After lunch you will complete the tour and return to your hotel for the evening.

DAY 4 : Volubilis – Meknes – Fez :
After an early breakfast, you will set out in the morning to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubolis. You will spend the morning exploring the 2000-year-old ruins and getting a picture of life during the Roman Empire . Lunch will be taken in Moulay Idris, one of the holiest cities in Morocco . After lunch, your guide will take you on a bus tour of the imperial city, Meknes .

DAY 5 : Marrakech ( full day drive) :
After an early breakfast, the group will depart for Marrakech. The beautiful drive will take you up into the Middle Atlas Mountains and along the base of the High Atlas Mountains.

DAY 6 : Marrakech ( Visit of the town ) :
After breakfast, the group will have a guided tour of Marrakech, the southern pearl of Morocco . You will discover the Palace of the Bahia , the Saadian Tombs, and many other hidden treasures. After lunch, you will continue with the tour on to the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque and the famous Djemaa el-Fna, one of the center attractions of Marrakech. The tour will conclude with an exploration of the souk (market) lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, intricately woven Berber carpets and many other art objects of Morocco . Dinner will be served in the hotel.Once in Marrakech, you will check into your hotel and then head off to the Djemaa el-Fna, the center square of the medina. The famous Djemaa el-Fna, is one of the center attractions of Marrakech. Coming alive at night with the local storytellers, entertainers, and mouth-watering barbeque pits, the square is well worth a visit. A quiet cup of tea on the terrace of an adjacent café provides a spectacular aerial view of the bustling square. Dinner can be taken in the hotel or in the square.

DAY 7 : Marrakech – Essaouira – Marrakech :
After breakfast, you will set off to the coastal city of Essaouira , a picturesque fishing town, lying on the southwest coast of Morocco . With an exquisite beach to the south, Essaouira has become one of Morocco ‘s most popular coastal towns. Many of the countries wood carvers and artists make Essaouira their home. Lunch will be served in one of the restaurants in the medina. After lunch, you will continue your tour of Essaouira, a high light being an optional camel ride on the beach. You will return in the evening to Marrakech where dinner will be served at the hotel.

DAY 8 : Depart Marrakech :
Transfert from the hotel to the Menara Airport.  End of our services.
